Who can use Securitask?+
It supports Company/Admin users (managers), Employees (guards/staff), and Individual/Freelancer users. Each role sees the modules relevant to their work.
How does Securitask work (high level)?+
Most companies follow this flow: add clients → add sites/locations → add employees/freelancers → create shifts/rosters → track attendance and operations → use payroll and invoices for finance.
Can I use Securitask on mobile?+
Yes. Securitask is web-based and works on modern mobile browsers. Employees can access shifts and complete field tasks as required by your company workflow.
Company / Admin
Operations setup, scheduling and financeWhat is the best setup order for a company account?+
We recommend: create your company profile → add clients → add sites/locations → add employees/freelancers → upload key documents/instructions → then start creating shifts and rosters.
How do I create shifts and assign employees?+
Create shifts for a site and assign the required staff. Employees can then view their assigned shifts. Adjust rosters anytime when coverage changes.
What if an employee has missing or incorrect attendance?+
Use Attendance/Timesheets to review entries and resolve discrepancies. Keeping attendance accurate helps payroll and invoices match real work completed.
How do patrols and check calls help operations?+
Patrols and check calls add accountability to field operations. They help confirm activity at sites, improve guard welfare, and create an auditable record for clients.
How do Payroll and Invoices work?+
Payroll helps you manage pay runs and track status. Invoices are created per client to track paid/pending/overdue. Both are easier when attendance and shifts are up-to-date.
Employee
Shifts, attendance and field workWhere can employees see their shifts?+
Employees can open the Shifts section to see upcoming assignments. Always review site details and instructions before arriving.
How do employees record attendance / timesheets?+
If your company requires it, employees record attendance for shifts and review timesheets. Reporting issues early helps avoid payroll delays.
How do I submit a report or log an incident?+
Use Reports/Incidents (and diary tools if enabled) to capture what happened, when it happened, and any supporting notes. This helps managers and clients with compliance and investigations.
How do employees complete patrols or check calls?+
Follow the site’s required workflow inside the patrol/check call module. These tasks create an auditable log of activity while on duty.
Individual / Freelancer
Profile, onboarding and jobsHow do I create an Individual account?+
Go to registration, choose Individual/Freelancer, and complete the signup form. Then complete your profile so companies can onboard you faster.
How does the Jobs board work?+
Use Jobs to browse opportunities (when enabled). You can review job details and apply/track activity based on the features enabled in your workspace.
Can Individuals submit timesheets?+
Yes, where timesheet features are enabled. Keep hours accurate and report issues early to avoid payment delays.
Billing & plans

Can I track paid, pending, and overdue invoices?+
Yes. Company users can track invoice statuses to manage cashflow and client billing.

Troubleshooting
Common issues and fixesI forgot my password. What should I do?+
Use the “Forgot Password” link on the login page and follow the instructions. If you still cannot access your account, contact support.
I can’t see my shifts. Why?+
Most commonly, shifts are not assigned yet, or you are logged into the wrong account type. Contact your manager/admin to confirm your assignment.
How do I contact support?+
Use the Contact page and share your account email, role (Company/Employee/Individual), and a short description of the issue.
